We are actively seeking an enthusiastic Tutor to deliver and support a diverse range of learners from sign-up, guiding them through to the End Point Assessment. The role involves delivering training remotely and on-site across North West England, contributing to the growth and success of our dynamic training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meaningful interviews, inductions, and initial assessments on learners to measure progress and identify training needs.
  • Ensure learners have a comprehensive understanding of their training programme through induction and regular review schedules.
  • Plan and deliver progressive sessions that build on previous learning and provide evidence towards the standard, maths, and English.
  • Provide mentoring and support to learners both in the centre and on-site.
  • Conduct regular site visits with employers to review learner progress and prepare for end-point assessment activities.
  • Develop relationships with local employers to support existing and new apprentice learners.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety/Safeguarding/Prevent in the work placement environment.
  • Identify and implement strategies to prevent disengagement of learners.
  • Support quality learning programmes and participate in quality assurance processes.
  • Provide reports as required and monitor attendance levels using in-house systems.
  • Carry out related administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of Our Client’s Apprenticeship Programme.

Other Duties:

  • Undertake any other duties deemed appropriate by the Managing Director and commensurate with the level of the post.
  • Promote the commitment to Safeguarding in line with the Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and Procedure.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety.
  • Respect confidentiality; all confidential information should be kept in confidence and not released to unauthorised persons.
  • Undertake appropriate training and development as required.
  • Participate in the Performance Review and Development Scheme.
  • Adhere to the company’s environmental policy and guidelines and undertake tasks in a sustainable manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent Customer Care in dealing with all customers.


  • Knowledge of assessment methods and techniques, including the ability to conduct fair and accurate assessments in Bricklaying.
  • Experience and background in Construction, including Bricklaying and general site Health and Safety.
  • Hold relevant certificates within the industry field at Level 3 or above.
  • Good level of Literacy and Numeracy (Grade C or equivalent).
  • Creative and passionate about training/learning.
  • Ability to identify potential barriers and plan strategies to overcome them.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated and well-organised.
  • Excellent IT skills with programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible and go above and beyond as and when needed.
  • Team player with the ability to work on your initiative and meet set timescales.
  • Willingness to undertake personal & professional development in relation to your role and business needs.

  • Hold a full U.K. driving licence and have access to a vehicle.


  • A1 (D32/33) or TAQA – training can be provided.
  • Teaching qualification such as AET/CET/PTTLS/PGCE (if not already held, must be willing to achieve the qualification).
  • Competency with regard to Safeguarding.
