Business Development Executive – Hybrid

As a Business Development Executive, you will join a dynamic and results-driven sales team in a fast-paced office environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new customer relationships using a consultative approach, identifying how training and sponsorship opportunities can support client objectives.

This is primarily a telephone, email, and video-based role, requiring strong communication and business development skills. Over time, the role may evolve into a blended business development and account management position, though new business generation will remain a key focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sustainable client relationships via phone, email, video calls (Teams), and occasional client visits
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and accurately forecast pipeline activity
  • Prepare tailored quotes and proposals for prospective clients
  • Provide excellent customer service and ongoing account support
  • Maintain accurate records and update CRM and sales management systems
  • Prospect and build new client accounts, aligned with team targets
  • Attend regular team meetings and contribute to best practice sharing
  • Monitor personal sales performance and work towards individual targets
  • Support the Team Leader with strategic sales initiatives, mentoring newer team members, and contributing to product development

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a consultative sales or business development role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working to targets and KPIs in a sales-focused environment
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • A passion for learning, training, and professional development
