Are you a driven and experienced sales professional with a passion for apprenticeships and training? Our client, a leading training provider, is looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in their growth strategy.
About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and growing client relationships, securing new business, and driving sales across a wide range of apprenticeship and training programmes. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by identifying client needs and tailoring bespoke training solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact and engage with employers to identify training needs and sell apprenticeship programmes.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, increasing market share across key sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
- Collaborate with senior management to continually improve the provider’s product offering based on client feedback.
- Support the creation of corporate proposals, bids, and tenders to secure high-value contracts.
- Stay updated on competitor activity and industry trends, making tactical recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.
What You’ll Bring:
- A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the apprenticeship or training sector.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage a demanding workload, and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- A genuine passion for education, putting the needs of both clients and learners at the forefront of everything you do.
