About the Role

Our Business department at Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus is at the forefront of delivering high-quality vocational and professional programmes. We offer a comprehensive range of courses from Level 1 to Level 3, designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the ever-evolving business world. As a Lecturer in Business, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their academic journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers or further education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and Inspire: Deliver engaging lessons across a variety of business-related subjects, including BTEC Levels 1 to 3, Access to HE, and T levels. Your expertise may also be utilised in teaching AAT programmes if you have the relevant skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Work closely with the Section Manager and Head of School to innovate and develop new courses that meet industry demands.
  • Student Support: Conduct student inductions, monitor academic progress, and provide personalised support to ensure each learner reaches their full potential.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Implement robust assessment plans, provide constructive feedback, and use data to track and enhance student performance.
  • Engage and Collaborate: Participate in open evenings, interviews, and other recruitment activities. Work alongside colleagues to maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
