Job Vacancy: Course Team Leader – Plumbing & Multi-Skills
Are you an experienced educator with a passion for plumbing and multi-skills? Do you have a knack for leading teams and driving curriculum excellence? We’re seeking a dynamic Course Team Leader to join our vibrant school and make a lasting impact on the future of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Course Team Leader, you will:
- Lead Curriculum Development: Shape the curriculum for plumbing, gas, and multi-skills programmes, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging, and up-to-date with industry standards.
- Manage Resources: Optimise staffing and materials, ensuring the best use of resources to deliver high-quality education.
- Maximise Funding: Drive enrolment, retention, and student achievement to secure maximum funding and income for the school.
- Work-Based Learning (WBL) Coordination: Oversee WBL provisions, ensuring students gain practical experience that enhances their employability.
Core Duties:
- Student Recruitment: Participate in open evenings, conduct interviews, and contribute to marketing strategies to attract and guide potential students.
- Student Support: Lead student inductions, monitor academic progress, and ensure students have access to necessary support and resources.
- Programme Delivery: Teach across a range of construction and engineering programmes, integrating IT and learning technologies to enhance student engagement.
- Curriculum Management: Maintain up-to-date records, lead course team meetings, and support staff through appraisals and mentoring.
- Quality Assurance: Implement student feedback processes, conduct course reviews, and set targets for retention, achievement, and attendance.

- Subject Expertise: In-depth knowledge of plumbing, gas, and multi-skills, with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams and leading projects, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
