Data Analyst Team Lead

Data Analyst Team Lead

We’re preparing to launch a brand new Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship this September, and I’m looking for a knowledgeable and forward-thinking apprenticeship assessor/coach to take on the role of Team Leader for this new provision.

This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of something from the very beginning. You’ll not only shape the curriculum and deliver the programme—you’ll be instrumental in designing the entire learner experience. Reporting into the Performance Manager, you’ll lead on content creation, manage your own caseload of learners, and as the programme grows, recruit and mentor a team of Skills Coaches to ensure consistently high standards.

This is more than a coaching or assessing role—it’s about building, leading, and inspiring.

What’s in it for you?

We put people first, both learners and colleagues. You’ll be joining a values-led organisation where your professional development and well-being are genuinely prioritised. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

  • Monthly CPD study days dedicated to your personal development

  • 5.6 weeks’ annual leave, plus bank holidays, plus a full two-week closure over Christmas

  • Two weeks of paid short-term sick leave

  • Access to a well-being and employee benefits programme with rewards and discounts

  • Opportunities to get involved in exciting projects beyond the day-to-day, helping to shape the future of the organisation

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop the full project plan for the Data Analyst Level 4 Apprenticeship, including timelines and key milestones

  • Design and implement a Scheme of Learning to ensure learners gain the skills needed to pass their End Point Assessment

  • Create assessment activities that demonstrate learner progress and practical understanding

  • Deliver engaging and interactive remote teaching sessions aligned to the standard

  • Build strong relationships with learners, line managers, and employers to support learner success

  • Develop personalised learning journeys and provide targeted support and coaching

  • Lead on safeguarding and promote a culture of care and inclusion

  • Support the first learner intake and build out your own caseload

  • As the programme grows, recruit, lead, and support a high-performing team of Skills Coaches

  • Collaborate with the commercial team to roll out the programme with new and existing clients

  • Share best practice, introduce innovative delivery methods, and continuously look for ways to improve the programme

What we’re looking for:

You’re someone who takes initiative, thrives in a start-up style environment, and enjoys seeing ideas through from concept to delivery. If you love data, coaching, and making a meaningful impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to do it all.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Data Analytics or a related discipline

  • Experience delivering Data Analyst apprenticeships or equivalent training programmes

  • Good working knowledge of industry-standard data tools, software, and methodologies

  • Experience writing and delivering curriculum content aligned to apprenticeship standards

  • A collaborative, supportive mindset and a commitment to high-quality learning

  • Strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail

  • A recognised teaching or coaching qualification (L3+) – desirable, but not essential

  • GCSEs A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths

This is your chance to get in at the ground level of a brand-new programme—one that combines technical excellence with people-centred coaching. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, I’d love to hear from you.
