Employer Relationship Manager – Home Based covering Greater Manchester

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and goal-focused individual who relishes the challenge of employer engagement. In this exciting role, you’ll focus on forging new employer partnerships and creating job opportunities for learners through tailored pre-employment training programmes. Your ability to identify, approach, and convert leads into long-term employer relationships will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

Employer Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Proactively research, identify, and engage potential employer partners.
  • Use a range of methods, including outreach, networking, and industry events, to establish and maintain relationships with employers.
  • Drive employer engagement and promote our pre-employment training solutions.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, understand their recruitment needs, and position our programmes as a solution.
  • Secure commitments from employers to interview and employ our learners.

Relationship Management & Employer Support:

  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with employer partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employers, managing expectations and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Negotiate agreements that maximise employment opportunities for our learners.

Performance & Market Awareness:

  • Work towards and exceed engagement targets, consistently driving successful outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, employer needs, and funding opportunities to support growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of employer interactions and partnership outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports on employer engagement performance.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy for employer engagement and growth.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to grow our employer base.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold our commitment to excellence and the core values of the organisation.

  • Strong stakeholder relationships, particularly with DWP contacts.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships.

  • Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or partnership development is highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently while driving new partnerships.
