Our client is looking to recruit Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor(s) to provide an engaging and effective learning experience, leading to the achievement of agreed qualifications and progression targets. The role involves planning, designing, and delivering lessons tailored to student needs.
We are looking for passionate, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individuals committed to student achievement and success. The ideal candidate will foster strong working relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills Maths & English lessons.
- Plan, assess, and track student progress to meet qualification requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with students.
- Support learners in achieving their progression targets.
Essential Criteria:
- A relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Experience delivering Functional Skills Level 2 Maths & English.
- Strong organisational skills for planning, assessment, and progress tracking.
- A proven track record of meeting targets.
- Experience in the training/education sector.
- A DBS Certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- A car and full UK driving licence (essential).
