About the Role:

As the Head of Employability, you’ll be at the helm of operational activities across multiple sites and contracts, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and profitability targets. Your strategic prowess will drive growth as you develop and implement operational plans in alignment with our client’s vision, working closely with the Chief Operations Officer and Operations Managers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Craft comprehensive reports for the Senior Management Team, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Foster and nurture business partnerships and client relationships, ensuring sustained growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to propel company expansion, enhancing our impact on communities.
  • Collaborate closely with HR on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and talent acquisition to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Propose and implement operational enhancements in conjunction with other teams to optimize productivity.
  • Establish and monitor performance goals, driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
  • Oversee quality and compliance, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for service issues.
  • Lead performance management meetings, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Take charge of specific operational contracts, conducting thorough performance reviews.

Performance Management:

  • Achieve financial, performance, and quality targets through effective resource management and strategic planning.
  • Direct the performance management of Operations Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans accordingly.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, maintaining compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Implement Performance Improvement Plans to address any performance shortfalls proactively.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through regular observations and assessments.

HR/Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with HR to ensure optimal staffing levels and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Conduct regular appraisals and reviews for managers, supporting their professional development.
  • Manage staff absence and handle disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Uphold equality and diversity principles, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
