About the Role

As Head of Employer Engagement & Sales, you will play a crucial role in connecting businesses with life-changing skills and employability opportunities. Working for a leading provider that bridges both the Skills and Employability sectors, you and your team will engage with employers—large and small—to promote:

  • The Restart Programme
  • Adult Skills Fund Learners
  • Bootcamp Learners
  • Apprenticeships

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an employer engagement strategy, ensuring businesses can access the right talent solutions.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team while actively generating your own business pipeline.
  • Build strong partnerships with employers, understanding their labour market challenges and offering tailored skills and employment solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align employer needs with funded training and employment initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in employer engagement, sales, or business development—ideally within the skills, training, or employability sectors.
  • A strong understanding of the local labour market and the challenges businesses face in accessing talent.
  • Leadership experience—managing, developing, and motivating a team while being hands-on.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to deliver tangible business growth and employer partnerships.
