I’m thrilled to represent one of the leading players in this industry, a prominent organization specializing in employability and welfare to work services, in their search for a Head of Performance Excellence.

In this pivotal role, you’ll have the chance to lead the charge in driving performance excellence within the organisation. As the go-to person for shaping delivery and aligning the Performance Excellence team with operational priorities, you’ll be at the forefront of driving change and innovation.

Reporting Relationship: You’ll report directly to the Director of Employability, collaborating closely with Restart managers to ensure alignment and effectiveness across the board. Your role as a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) will give you the opportunity to influence and shape strategies at the highest levels.

Your Mission: Your primary mission will be to define and embody performance excellence for the Restart scheme. This means continually raising the bar on performance levels, from job starts to customer satisfaction. You’ll own the Change Management Framework, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of change initiatives. As a subject matter expert, you’ll keep your finger on the pulse of market trends and insights, driving best practices across the board.

Leading from the Front: Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you provide line management support to your team, guiding them towards success and addressing any challenges along the way. You’ll govern the change portfolio, making sure risks are managed effectively and resources are allocated wisely. And of course, you’ll be the driving force behind departmental communications, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged.

Your Profile: With a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading business change or continuous improvement functions, preferably within government-contracted services, you’re ready to take on this challenge head-on. Your proficiency in consumer research techniques and data analysis, coupled with your proven track record of project delivery, make you the ideal candidate for this role. And your IAG Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience speaks volumes about your expertise in the employability sector.
