About the Role: This pivotal role is your chance to lead quality initiatives at a Grade 2 professional services training provider. As a vibrant and growing organisation offering leading apprenticeships to the UK market, they are rapidly establishing themselves as a destination employer in the skills sector. You will set high standards across all aspects of delivery, steering the organisation towards outstanding performance. With responsibility for quality assurance, continuous improvement, client experience, and safeguarding, you will lead a dedicated team focused on raising performance, enhancing the brand, and expanding market share.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive Quality Excellence: Foster a culture of high standards and continuous improvement, empowering teams to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee Quality Frameworks: Design and implement robust quality cycles aligned with regulatory requirements and the Education Inspection Framework.
  • Lead Improvement Strategies: Develop and review the Self-Assessment Report and Improvement Plan, monitoring progress and showcasing measurable impact.
  • Enhance Learning Quality: Manage the Observation of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (OTLA) process, ensuring constructive feedback and consistency across the organisation.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Oversee qualifications assurance in line with EPA and EQA standards, using data analysis to address underperformance effectively.
  • Enhance Learner Experience: Lead initiatives that improve learner satisfaction, applying a “You Said, We Did” approach to feedback.
  • Promote Safeguarding: Embed safeguarding and wellbeing principles across all programmes and initiatives.
  • Act as a Key Leader: Serve as Deputy Ofsted Nominee and lead on reaccreditation efforts for the Matrix Standard.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in quality improvement within the apprenticeship sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework, the Matrix Standard, and the Apprenticeship Accountability Framework.
  • Proven track record of collaborative leadership and driving team success.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Relevant qualifications, including IQA (essential), with desirable credentials such as Level 5 Teaching, safeguarding expertise, and coaching qualifications.
