Are you passionate about making a difference and helping others? Do you thrive in customer-facing roles and want to positively impact people’s lives? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our Restart team as a Health & Wellbeing Coach.

As a Health & Wellbeing Coach, you’ll support those furthest from the labour market to begin their journey towards training, job search, and employment. You’ll help participants develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage their health and wellbeing, using health coaching, wellbeing conversations, and behaviour change techniques to empower them to make positive lifestyle changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver group and one-on-one health & wellbeing services.
  • Support participants in building self-awareness, confidence, and communication skills to establish a foundation for emotional wellbeing.
  • Perform health-specific assessments to identify challenges and provide evidence-based advice.
  • Develop training and support materials for both health and non-healthcare trained employees.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with internal delivery teams across my client’s employability sector.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be kind, reflective, and self-aware, enjoying working with a diverse range of people. You should have experience delivering health-specific programmes that support participants with their health management, including managing anxiety, stress management, pain management, relaxation, and exercise classes. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with a firm belief that people have untapped resources that can be unleashed with high-quality, non-judgemental support.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in health promotion or public health.
  • Experience supporting individuals with physical and mental health difficulties in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent rapport-building skills with a range of customers and stakeholders.
  • A health qualification registered with HCPC, BACP, or BABCP is advantageous.

What We Offer:

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package, including:

  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day off (with the opportunity to buy additional days)
  • 2 Volunteer Days
  • Pension: 5% Employee, 5% Employer
  • Healthcare Cash Plan, including 3 x salary life assurance
  • Annual Pay Review
  • Refer a Friend Scheme
  • Free access to BenefitHub – an online portal with access to a wide range of retail discounts, cycle to work scheme, and additional voluntary benefits
  • Career progression opportunities
