I’m working with an exciting, mission-driven organisation that is expanding rapidly, and I’m looking to find an experienced Bid Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role, offering you the opportunity to make a real impact while working fully remotely.
My client delivers high-impact services across sectors such as Employment Services, Justice, Youth, Skills, and Business Support. As they grow, they need a Bid Manager who can lead the production of high-quality, winning submissions—securing both new and existing business.
This is a home-based position, so you can work from anywhere in the UK, but you’ll still feel part of a highly collaborative team. You’ll be working closely with business development teams and key stakeholders to craft compelling bids that reflect the organisation’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the production of winning bid submissions, ensuring they consistently score highly.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to other writers, helping the team deliver high-quality responses.
- Develop winning strategies for bids, ensuring key themes and messages are clearly communicated.
- Manage bids throughout the process, from initial storyboarding to final submission.
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute to successful presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in leading and winning multi-million-pound tenders.
- Strong bid writing skills with a keen eye for what makes a high-scoring response.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with public sector procurement processes and tendering platforms.
- Knowledge in one or more of the following sectors: Employment Services, Justice, Youth, Skills, or Business Support.
Who You Are:
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working under pressure.
- A strong communicator who’s comfortable working collaboratively online.
- You have excellent time management and organisational skills.
- You’re proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bid Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation at a key moment in their growth. If you have a passion for delivering winning proposals and want to work fully remotely, I’d love to hear from you!
