About the Opportunity

We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager who prides themselves on a consultative and professional sales approach. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual who thrives on building long-term relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering high-quality training solutions that create real business impact.

You will be joining a specialist apprenticeship training provider with an outstanding reputation for delivering niche programmes across digital, IT, intelligence, cyber security, and protective services. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new employer partnerships across multiple sectors.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of engagement.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, including HR and L&D leaders, to understand training and workforce development needs.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and pitches both virtually and in person.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to overall business growth through both new business acquisition and account development.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a business development or account management role, ideally within the training or apprenticeships sector.
  • Strong background or understanding of the digital and IT industries.
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.
