About the role
As a Learner Engagement professional (Contract Delivery Specialist), you’ll attract learners, build referral partnerships and support people from their first enquiry through to enrolment and the start of their course.
The role combines community engagement, learner recruitment and enrolment support, helping people access suitable learning opportunities.
A full driving licence and access to a car are essential, as regional travel between different sites and partner venues is required.
What you’ll be doing
In this Learner Engagement role (Contract Delivery Specialist), your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with community organisations and referral partners.
- Promoting courses and engaging people who could benefit from learning.
- Providing information, advice and guidance to help learners choose suitable courses.
- Managing enrolments, checking eligibility and maintaining accurate records in line with funding requirements.
- Helping learners prepare for their course and ensuring a smooth handover to tutors.
- Following up after course completion to record outcomes and support progression into further learning or employment.
- Working with colleagues to meet recruitment and delivery requirements.
- Travelling across the region to attend different sites, meet partners and engage learners.
What we’re looking for
For this Learner Engagement position (Contract Delivery Specialist), you’ll need experience in at least one of the following:
- Learner recruitment, engagement and partnership development.
- Enrolment processes, systems and compliance.
- Course or project management.
You’ll also need:
- An understanding of education funding rules, learner eligibility and information, advice and guidance.
- Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach.
- A full driving licence and access to a car for regional travel.
Experience in funded adult education, skills provision or community engagement would be beneficial.
