Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Manage and develop a minimum of 10 key employer accounts within a specified sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact.
- Conduct regular employer reviews to ensure services meet evolving needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to target key sectors and organisations for apprenticeship and skills recruitment.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Resourcers to ensure vacancies are filled with suitable candidates/learners in a timely manner.
- Clearly communicate employer expectations to support effective screening and placements.
- Monitor the end-to-end candidate/learner journey to ensure quality submissions and positive employer outcomes.
Service Offering
- Present the full employment, skills, and training service offering to employers, positioning Our Client as a trusted long-term partner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of all contract requirements.
- Ensure employer accounts meet performance metrics across all service areas.
Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report on key performance indicators including placements, satisfaction, sustainability, retention, and repeat business.
- Provide regular updates to the Strategic Account Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Use data insights to identify improvements in account management and service delivery.
- Share insights with Stakeholder Engagement colleagues to enhance employer engagement and screening quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in account management, recruitment, or employer engagement.
- Experience working with high-volume or national employer accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to develop strategies and translate them into actionable plans.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work at pace while meeting targets and deadlines.
- NVQ Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of the skills and employability sector.
- Confident communicator at all levels, using a variety of methods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional, flexible, and proactive approach.
- High standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and quality.
