As they continue to grow, they’re looking for an ambitious and relationship-driven Account Manager to support employer engagement and drive high-quality outcomes across the Restart contract.

Main Purpose of the Role
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing and developing employer accounts, ensuring high-quality placements and strong relationships. You will source and nurture around 10 independently generated employer accounts, while also supporting the Strategic Account Manager with high-volume, national opportunities.
Working closely with the Resourcer, you’ll match the right candidates and learners to employer vacancies, while promoting the full employment, skills and training offering delivered by our client.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Employer Account Management
- Manage and grow a minimum of 10 key employers within your sector.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact.
- Conduct regular employer reviews to ensure services meet changing needs.
- Develop strategies for targeting high-potential sectors for apprenticeships, training and employment opportunities.
🔹 Collaboration & Candidate Placement
- Work closely with Resourcers to ensure roles are filled efficiently with suitable candidates.
- Clearly communicate employer expectations to optimise screening and placement.
- Monitor the end-to-end candidate and learner journey to ensure quality submissions.
🔹 Service Promotion
- Promote the full service offering across employment, skills and training.
- Stay up to date with all contract performance requirements.
- Ensure employer activity aligns with KPIs and performance standards.
🔹 Tracking & Reporting
- Track placements, satisfaction, retention and repeat business across your accounts.
- Provide regular performance updates to the Strategic Account Manager.
- Use data insights to drive improvements, identify growth areas and inform employer engagement strategies.
- Share insights with internal teams to continually enhance service delivery.
What You’ll Need
- Experience in account management, recruitment or employer engagement (ideally with high volume or national accounts).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience turning strategy into actionable plans.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting targets and deadlines.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience/qualifications.
- Strong understanding of the employability and skills sector.
- Confident communicator across all channels (written, verbal, behavioural).
- Strong IT literacy across MS Office applications.
- Flexible, professional and committed to quality.
