Drawing on your hands-on experience with workflow automation, AI-powered processes, and low-code/no-code platforms, you’ll transform real-world insight into engaging coaching sessions, practical exercises, and scenario-based learning. You’ll help learners confidently identify opportunities for automation, design reliable solutions, and apply responsible AI principles that deliver genuine business value.
You’ll also collaborate with curriculum specialists to continuously refine programme content—ensuring it reflects current best practices in automation lifecycle management, AI-assisted workflows, integration design, and governance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment where apprentices can thrive.
- Guide learners in identifying automation opportunities, scoping solutions, and defining risks, assumptions, and success measures.
- Support process mapping and optimisation (e.g., BPMN/UML), helping learners streamline workflows before automating.
- Coach apprentices through the full automation lifecycle—from discovery and build to testing, deployment, and business-as-usual operations.
- Embed best practices in responsible AI, data protection, and safe automation design.
- Provide personalised, constructive feedback on assignments, builds, and documentation.
- Track learner progress, identify skill gaps, and tailor coaching to strengthen technical capability.
- Support apprentices throughout their journey with timely interventions and clear milestone tracking.
- Maintain accurate reporting and quality assurance processes.
- Champion high standards in safeguarding, compliance, and professional conduct.
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience building workflow automations (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of automation fundamentals: triggers, connectors, conditions, error handling, monitoring, and integrations.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.
- Knowledge of governance, risk controls, and change management in automation environments.
- Understanding of responsible AI and data protection principles (e.g., GDPR).
- Confidence in process mapping, documentation, and runbook creation.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Comfortable working with digital learning platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering apprenticeships or structured training programmes.
- Familiarity with tools such as Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, ALM), Postman, JSON, or Power BI.
- Exposure to AI-enhanced workflows or agentic AI integrations.
- Relevant certifications in automation, AI, or low-code platforms.
- Awareness of apprenticeship quality and regulatory frameworks.
