We are looking for an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator to join an Apprenticeships Team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional learning experiences for apprentices.
About the Role
As our Apprenticeship Co-ordinator, you’ll be the key point of contact for all apprenticeship activity across the business. You’ll support the delivery of both internal and external apprenticeship programmes, ensuring everything runs smoothly — from data accuracy and compliance to reporting, stakeholder support, and learner tracking.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves organisation, values high standards, and wants to make a tangible difference to career development within the rail industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Champion apprenticeships across the business, raising awareness and supporting engagement.
- Maintain and update learner databases while ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules.
- Monitor and manage Individual Learning Records (ILRs).
- Track apprenticeship financial data, including levy spend and programme income.
- Act as the custodian for Apprenticeship SharePoint pages, ensuring accurate advice and guidance.
- Provide progress updates and guidance to managers, flagging any concerns early.
- Liaise with training providers, managers, and roster teams to arrange Functional Skills sessions and End Point Assessments—booking rooms where needed.
- Produce monthly management reports on apprenticeship progress.
The employer are one of the countries biggest Rail services, who have their own in-house apprenticeship programme, and this role comes with a wide range of corporate benefits. The role is hybrid, on average this will be a 3/2 day split, with offices in London – you’ll spend most of your time at Croydon, but there are other offices across London. With it being a national rail company, one of the key perks here is the company benefits – normal things like 25 days holiday, very strong pension etc, but you also get family included on things like free travel on specific railways, and 75% off all rail travel after 6 weeks. Private healthcare and life insurance is also included in this.
The role is available now, and will be interviewing in the coming weeks.
