We’re looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Course Developer & Skills Coach to join our client’s Operations team and play a key role in delivering a truly transformative learning experience.

Working closely with the Curriculum Innovation Manager and Digital Learning Team, you’ll design and deliver a cutting-edge apprenticeship programme that empowers professionals to lead meaningful change in corporate responsibility and sustainability.

The Role

This is more than just a teaching role.

You’ll design, build, and deliver an innovative learning journey that equips learners with the tools, mindset, and confidence to drive ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible practices within their organisations.

From creating engaging digital content to coaching learners through to End Point Assessment (EPA), you’ll be central to their development.

What You’ll Be Doing

Curriculum Design & Development

• Lead the creation of a high-quality, engaging apprenticeship curriculum aligned to the CR&S standard (ST0749)

• Design structured, progressive learning journeys for adult learners

• Collaborate with the Digital Learning Team to create interactive and modern learning experiences

• Develop content across key sustainability areas, including:

  • ESG frameworks and reporting

  • Sustainability strategy and organisational culture

  • Ethical governance and responsible business practice

  • Carbon reduction and Net Zero pathways

  • Environmental management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 14064, ISO 50001)

• Ensure all content reflects current legislation and industry best practice

• Continuously refine materials based on learner feedback and emerging trends

Teaching & Facilitation

• Deliver high-quality virtual workshops, webinars, and group learning sessions

• Bring sustainability concepts to life through discussion, collaboration, and practical application

• Create inclusive and psychologically safe learning environments

• Adapt delivery to suit learners from a range of industries and experience levels

Coaching & Learner Support

• Provide one-to-one coaching and mentorship to learners

• Build strong relationships that support engagement, motivation, and progression

• Develop personalised learning plans aligned with workplace objectives

• Support learners in applying sustainability principles to real business challenges

• Prepare learners for End Point Assessment with structured guidance and feedback

Progress & Performance

• Monitor learner progress and implement timely interventions where needed

• Conduct regular tripartite reviews with learners and our client

• Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards and off-the-job training requirements

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to overall programme performance

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless learner experience

• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and innovation

• Stay up to date with developments in sustainability, ESG, and digital learning

• Support a culture of continuous improvement and learner-focused delivery

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Strong experience in Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, ESG, or Responsible Business

• Experience in curriculum design, training, or content development

• Experience coaching or mentoring professionals

• Strong knowledge of:

  • ESG frameworks and sustainability strategy

  • Environmental and social impact

  • Carbon reporting and Net Zero

  • Environmental and energy management systems

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Desirable:

• Industry qualifications such as IEMA or ISEP, or a degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability

• Teaching qualification (AET, DET, PGCE)

• Experience delivering apprenticeship standards or professional development programmes

• Familiarity with digital learning platforms

• Sector experience in construction, rail, or health and safety
