Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions (1:1 and group) to apprentices, supporting their development in data analysis concepts and techniques
- Guide learners through key topics such as data cleaning, visualisation, statistical analysis, and tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI)
- Support apprentices in building and maintaining their portfolios of evidence in line with apprenticeship standards
- Monitor learner progress, setting targets and providing regular feedback to ensure timely achievement
- Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment (EPA), including project support and mock assessments
- Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and their employers, ensuring alignment with workplace objectives
- Identify and support additional learning needs, providing tailored interventions where required
- Ensure all delivery meets compliance with ESFA funding rules and Ofsted expectations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date learner records within internal systems
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong background in data analysis, with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python
- Experience working in a data-focused role (e.g. Data Analyst, Business Analyst)
- Understanding of apprenticeship standards and work-based learning (desirable)
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training learners or colleagues
- Knowledge of data visualisation and storytelling techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a caseload of learners
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
- Teaching/assessing qualification (e.g. AET, CAVA, TAQA) – or willingness to work towards
- Level 4 or above Data Analyst qualification (desirable)
