We’re looking for a dedicated and driven Employment Specialist to provide personalised support to individuals facing barriers to work, including those with disabilities, neurodiverse conditions, mental health challenges, or complex backgrounds. Your mission? To help them prepare for, secure, and sustain paid employment that aligns with their goals—while promoting inclusion, independence, and wellbeing.

What You’ll Do

  • Empower Participants: Manage a caseload of around 25 individuals, guiding them through job search strategies, CV building, interview preparation, and action planning.
  • Engage Employers: Build strong relationships with local businesses, reverse-market participants, and identify suitable job opportunities.
  • Collaborate & Support: Work closely with health professionals, community organisations, and referral partners to ensure holistic support.
  • Champion Quality: Maintain accurate records, adhere to programme standards, and continuously improve service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of the local labour market.
  • IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency).
  • Experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of employability or recruitment sectors (desirable).

Why Join Us?

  • Make a real difference in people’s lives.
  • Be part of a supportive, values-driven team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth.

This is a face-to-face role, delivering services in the community across Nottingham City and South Nottinghamshire. If you’re ready to take ownership, work ethically, and strive for excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
