The Opportunity
Our client is looking for an ambitious, driven, and passionate Business Development Manager to join their growing training division.

You’ll promote training programmes, vocational qualifications, and workforce development solutions within sectors such as social housing, construction, and professional services — supporting clients to upskill and strengthen their teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors
- Promote apprenticeships, qualifications, and professional training programmes
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and presentation to closing deals and account management
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess needs and propose tailored solutions
- Build compelling proposals and deliver confident, consultative presentations
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction
- Represent our client at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities
- Use data and insights to guide business development strategy and stay competitive
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in apprenticeship or training sales within a training provider or similar organisation
- A results-driven mindset with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident engaging at all levels
- A strong commercial understanding and ability to develop value-led client solutions
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools to manage pipelines and client relationships
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
