We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading government contract organisation specialising in employability and skills, for a Performance Manager to join their new Connect to Work programme in Lancashire.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader to play a central role in a brand-new contract, helping individuals with health support needs to access and sustain meaningful employment.
The Role
As Performance Manager, you’ll lead and support a small team of frontline coaches, ensuring they deliver a high-quality service that meets performance targets and delivers real impact for participants. Alongside line management, coaching, and performance monitoring, you’ll also hold a small caseload, supporting individuals into sustainable employment.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing, coaching, and motivating a team of Employment Specialists to deliver strong performance and outcomes.

Driving team delivery against contract KPIs, ensuring compliance and quality standards are consistently met.

Building and maintaining strong stakeholder and partner relationships to create a robust referral pipeline.

Supporting employer engagement activity, helping to open opportunities in the local labour market.

Leading on quality assurance, client satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.

Producing performance reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.
About You

Proven ability to lead teams to achieve targets and deliver high-quality outcomes.
